Alabama's 2008 Small Business Person of the Year is from Elmore County

The US Small Business Administration awarded Elmore County local business owner Lynn Carter as Alabama's 2008 recipient of the Small Business Person of the Year award.  Elmore County has a strong presence in small business ownership in the state of Alabama.  The Troy University Small Business Development Center nominated Lynn Carter, owner of Southeast Cherokee Construction, for the award.  The Elmore County Economic Development Authority congratulates Lynn Carter on her achievement and overall success with her business.
