The Millbrook Spirit of Christmas Committee, led by Chairwoman Kathy Kelley, has announced plans for this year’s celebrations.

The annual Parade will be held on December 3 at 2 p.m. from the Smokehouse Barbecue to Village Green Park. For parade day, there will be plenty of food and other vendors at the park for some Christmas shopping from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for FREE photos with the kids, thanks to Valley Bank and Barry Chrietzburg Photography.

The parade theme this year is “A Whoville Christmas.” Consider that theme now, as you prepare for having a float in the parade.

The grand marshal for this year’s parade is Kathy Kelley, who has overseen the annual Christmas event and participated on the committee for more than 30 years. (For once she may be able to enjoy the parade rather than keeping everyone in line.)
