Mayfest in Millbrook

ELMORE COUNTY – Mayfest is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Village Green Park in Millbrook. This is a free community event for all ages. Mayfest will feature live entertainment, children’s activities, a farmers market, an arts and crafts market, a range of food options, and family-friendly activities throughout the morning and into the afternoon.

The arts and crafts market will feature original, hand-made items such as fine art, photography, prints, and decorative pieces for the home, office, garden, or personal use, as well as various artisanal goods.

The farmers market will offer seasonal, Alabama-grown produce, plants, and flowers, along with locally made cottage industry products such as goat’s milk soap, bath and body items, and honey.

There will be food trucks onsite. Prepared meals will also be available, along with a variety of snacks, candies, cookies, cakes, and other treats.

Starting at 11:30 a.m., there will be an interactive Maypole Dance, which will be performed by Alabama Dance Theatre dancers.
