ELMORE COUNTY- ECEDA will host another Alabama Bass Federation State Championship for Junior & Senior High School Anglers this Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th on Lake Jordan.

Details for this Tournament are as follows:

· Approximately 50 boats are registered. Registration will close Thursday and we’ll have a better idea on the number of boats then.

· We will have teams from all over the State competing, with each boat having two student-anglers and one adult captain.

· Pre-fishing will take place Wednesday and Thursday.

· Rules Meeting will take place at Bass Pro Shops parking lot on Thursday evening, April 10th. Because of the threat of severe weather on Thursday, we have made arrangements with BPS to move indoors if needed.

· Boats will launch each day from State Ramp, with blast-off at first safe light.

· Weigh-in will be held at State Ramp around 2:00 pm each day. Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday around 3:30 – 4:00 pm.

· ECEDA will be present for rules meeting, blast-off, and weigh-ins and awards ceremony.
