ELMORE COUNTY –The Elmore County Economic Development Authority (ECEDA) is hosting the Alabama Bass Federation’s 2024 Junior/High School two-day State Championship this weekend, Friday, April 12 to Saturday, April 13, 2024, on Lake Jordan.

Approximately 80 boats from all over the state are expected to participate. Each boat will have two student anglers and on adult captain. Boats will launch Friday and Saturday mornings from the State Ramp, blast-off will be at first safe light. Weigh-in will be held each day at the State Ramp starting at 2:00 p.m. Winners will be announced around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

ECEDA Executive Director, Lisa Van Wagner, says, “We are excited to host the Alabama Bass Federation’s championship tournament on beautiful Lake Jordan. We hope all participants and their families enjoy their time in Elmore County.”
