“In general, Elmore County is adding about 100 new residents a month, which is one of the fastest growth rates in the state,” said Lis Van Wagner, Executive Director of Elmore County Economic Development Authority (ECEDA).

As the population grows, the housing market is evolving to meet new demand. New residential communities are springing up, featuring everything from townhomes to single-family houses with modern amenities. Holtville and Eclectic are currently the two fastest-growing communities in Elmore County.

This growth isn’t just residential. Commercial development is rising to support the expanding population, with new projects bringing both jobs and convenience. It’s a cycle of positive momentum—new housing supports economic growth, and a stronger economy makes the area even more desirable.

For investors and developers, Elmore County offers real opportunity. There’s a clear demand for affordable and mid-range single-family homes, as well as an increasing need for multifamily and rental housing. Commercial spaces, whether retail, office, or mixed-use, are also in high demand as new residents bring new business.
