What services/products do you provide?
We provide advisory and traditional accounting services: tax planning and consulting, audit and assurance services, as well as all forms of business consulting, bookkeeping, and payroll services. We also own Jackson Thornton Asset Management, a wealth management company, and Jackson Thornton Technologies, a managed IT services provider.
How long have you been in business?
Jackson Thornton was founded in 1919 and has served the River Region for 102 years – with our Wetumpka office joining as a full-service location in 1985.

Our primary goal is to provide our clients with the advisory tools necessary for them to be successful. We understand that our clients’ success is paramount to our community and is the ultimate measure of our success.

Any interesting projects/jobs your business has done or been involved in?
Helping our clients navigate through a worldwide pandemic has been interesting, but also gratifying. When many of our clients were living through uncertain times for their businesses, we were able to help by providing assistance with new things such as the Paycheck Protection Program, other governmental assistance, and the many tax changes that arose because of the pandemic.
